I’m sure you‘ve met many people who always make the same wrong choices. They seem to be in an endless downward spiral of bad decisions. As a result, their lives are a disaster. I was the same! I did many times and I’m not ashamed to admit that I used to make the wrong choices and taking lots of bad decisions that took me to not a very happy ending.
When we make wrong choices, our situation gets worse and the scope of our choices becomes limited. To correct this thinking we must realize that the mistakes we have made in the past are, in fact, trumps that we can use today to our advantage.
When the scope of our choices is increasingly limited, the likelihood of making more wrong choices is inevitable. Instead, when we make good choices, our situation gets better and after we have more opportunities, which makes everything in our lives better. Once we make certain types of choices, the likelihood of making similar choices in the future almost becomes a self-fulfilling destiny. Every time we make a choice it is either positive or negative. For example, you have a choice between smoking and refusing to smoke. If you choose not to smoke so this is a positive choice, and has the effect of better health and a longer life. Well, I know this could be a moment pleasure, but you should think about future consequences that could affects your life. If the fear of trying to do more than you think you can is a problem for you, let me ask you some questions :
Are you afraid to set goals because you’re afraid that you might not be able to achieve them?
Are you afraid of failing in front of your friends and family? Does that stop you from making a commitment to try something new?
I believe that goals and commitments must be written on paper, but many people avoid doing so.
Somehow, because they don’t write their goals on paper, I think they have an implicit explanation for their failure. I can say that, in fact, they did not fail, because they never had these goals. I hope this is not your approach in setting goals! If it is, it may be more emotionally secure and even appear to be a risk free approach. However, there is a guarantee that you will never reach even a small part of your true potential. Yes, setting goals is dangerous, but the risk is infinitely higher when you don’t set goals. The reason is simple. As ships are built to sail, and planes to fly, a person is created with a purpose.
If you take a risk and fail, what you learn along the way will help you judge better in the future.

Are you usually taking positive or negative choices?
